I hope this Memorial Day finds you taking some time to honor those who pay the
cost of military service for our country.
On the road in Montezuma, GA, I attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Macon
County Historical Museum located in the old Depot downtown. This Momument
recognizes their service men and women who paid the ultimate price in WWII, Korea
and Vietnam. The town has plans to add a new memorial for the more current wars.
Watching the young Scout play "Taps" over the shoulder of the Veteran was very
moving. Talking with locals as I toured the Museum afterwards was very enlightening.
Thank you, Veterans and Active Service Men and Women!!
